The Duke University Program in Biological Chemistry is designed to provide students significant cross-training in chemistry and biology. Faculty members from Biochemistry, Chemistry and Botany encourage students in different disciplines to develop a common language. In the first year, intensive laboratory rotations in at least two departments begin in the summer and continue through the fall, providing students with the necessary information to choose their Ph.D. program.
